My only complaint is the bedding. It’s pretty thin and the sheets + mattress topper come off of the bed super easily making the mattress exposed which does not feel sanitary. Pros: refillable water station in the gym, free breakfast, heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. Overall it was a good stay!

I stayed in Room 107 with a queen-size bed, and the room was very spacious. The attendant was extremely understanding and accommodating when we checked out late due to the snow blizzard cause were in the road. I 101% recommend this place! The breakfast was excellent as well, with a wide variety of food to choose from.

I highly recommend this clean exceptional hotel! During a sudden family emergency, I had to bring in two extra little visitors, and the front desk was incredibly kind and accommodating. Their warmth and understanding made a huge difference for myself and especially the kids during a stressful time. This is a truly impressive facility with a wonderful heart.

Very classic hotel experience! The location seems to be well used and loved, you can tell they take care to maintain it and pay attention to the small details of hospitality. The rooms are clean and comfortable, lovely lobby with a couple games and books you can borrow. All the staff we encountered were lovely. The included breakfast was great, with three hot chafer options and a variety of lighter options like fruit, yogurt and oatmeal. The staff were on top of maintaining stock. We did not have any dietary restrictions but the couple next to us what gluten free and were very vocal about how accommodating the staff was. There is coffee and hot water at the front at all hours. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool but we did like that there were two different close times, one for minors and one for adults.

This hotel offers solid value, but there is one key detail for travelers with vehicles in Calgary. Parking is Open-Air: Just a crucial note for anyone driving here: the parking is all open-air surface parking. Given that we get serious hail in Calgary, especially in the summer, this is something to be aware of since your vehicle won't be covered. The Room: The room itself was perfectly fine—no complaints at all regarding comfort or overall quality. Maintenance Fix: I did have a hiccup with the bathroom: the shower drain was sluggish and kept clogging up initially. I reported it to the front desk, and I have to give them credit—they were quick to send maintenance, and the issue was fully resolved and working perfectly by the next day. Good service recovery! Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast is the standard simple fare, but the selection offered was actually quite generous with good variety. The only issue was the seating area: it was very crowded and cramped, likely because there was a large tour group staying at the hotel that morning. Bottom Line: A good, dependable stay where the hotel staff proved responsive. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate. Just remember the parking situation if you are worried about Calgary's weather!

The Country Inn &Suites was one of the best hotel bargains I have ever experienced. Relatively inexpensive, but it was not only a bedroom, but there was a small living room as well. That was a wonderful surprise. Another surprise: the laundry was secure. Only one of our two room keys was able to reopen it. Front desk folks were efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Enjoyed staying in this basic hotel. It has excellent location close to the airport with nice daily breakfast. For someone staying 2-3 nights, it is a very good choice. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It is a plus that their check-out time is at 12 noon. They also have a swimming pool and small gym.

The hotel is simple, but clean. The decor is outdated, so if that matters to you, you will likely be disappointed. However, the staff was super helpful and friendly, check-in was easy, there is a fantastic restaurant just across the street, and there was plenty of parking. It is a very convenient location and although it's close to the airport, there wasn't a lot of airplane noise. The breakfast was ok, but not great.
